Athletics

Athletics are an important part of student life at Suburban Bethlehem. But we believe that athletics are a privilege, rather than a right. Academics always come before optional athletics.

 

With a relatively small number of middle school students, most of our students are able to participate in many sports, if they so desire. Often this is not true in larger public middle schools.

 

SBLS offers the following sports in grades 5-8 in most cases:

• Girls' athletics include volleyball, basketball, soccer and track.

• Boys' athletics include soccer, basketball, wrestling and track and football through a joint Lutheran School program.

• Additional fees required to participate in these programs.

• Sport Fees:  Each child per sport

  • $75.00 Basketball​

  • $65.00 Soccer, Volleyball, Wrestling & Track

  • $50.00 Cheerleading
